Private Iguazu Falls Day Trip with Bilingual Guide and Border Fast Lane
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Foz do IguacuIguazu has more than 275 waterfalls inside a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and this private day trip visits the Brazilian and Argentine sides of it. The car uses the fast lane at the border and the bilingual guide assists with immigration, which cuts the time spent in lines. The guide also points out good photo spots and talks about wildlife, plants, history and geology. In Argentina the visit takes about six hours in two parts. The first is the Devil's Throat trail, reached by the Ecological Jungle Train and followed by a 1,100 meter catwalk with no steps. The second is the Upper Circuit, a panoramic route that starts at the Cataratas Station and lasts 1 hour 20 minutes. The Brazilian side has one trail that ends at the Devil's Throat, and transport is allowed into the park there. The tour lasts nine hours and takes up to 30 travelers. Park entrances, the Argentine eco tax and the Brazilian e-visa required for Americans, Australians and Canadians are not included.

The Brazilian side gives the most complete panorama of the falls and can be covered in a few morning hours. A single trail ends at the Devil's Throat. The only hotel inside the park is here, and a glass lift links the viewing decks. Transport is allowed into the park, which avoids queues.
