Private Montmorency Falls, Wolfe Redoubt and Île d'Orléans Tour with Manoir Montmorency
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Quebec CityA private tour that starts at the foot of Montmorency Falls, in the park that is one of the most impressive natural sites around Quebec City. The guide tells the story of the 83-metre plunge, 30 metres higher than Niagara Falls, and there is room to photograph the water from as close as possible. The car then drives to the top of the falls to see the Wolfe Redoubt and learn what happened there. From above, the view takes in the St. Lawrence River and Île d'Orléans. The suspension bridge crosses directly over the waterfall, and a detour passes the Manoir Montmorency and the site's old fortifications. The second part is a food tour of Île d'Orléans, a heritage island a few minutes from Quebec City with fertile land and long-standing craft traditions. It goes to the island's vineyards for local wine tasting, then to an artisanal cider producer that presses apples grown on the property, and finally to a chocolate maker. Guests also meet producers such as cheesemakers, market gardeners, jam makers or beekeepers. The tour starts from a location chosen by the client.
