Rabaçal Levada Hike, 17 km: 25 Fontes, Risco and Lagoa do Vento, Harder Small-Group Walk
A guided hike for a small group in the Rabaçal area, covering 17 km. It is not the standard 25 Fontes walk run by the large group operators: the distance is longer and the level harder. The route follows levadas and trails through the middle of the Laurissilva forest. The walk covers the most important part of Rabaçal: the 25 Fontes and the Risco waterfall, a stretch along the Levada do Paul da Serra, the Lagoa do Vento waterfall, where swimming is possible, and the Levada do Alecrim.

25 Fontes and Cascada da Risco
The 25 Fontes and the Risco waterfall are reached on a longer, harder route than the usual 25 Fontes walk of the big group operators, along levadas and trails through the vegetation.

Levada do Paul da Serra
This stretch follows the Levada do Paul da Serra, on the same longer and harder route that sets the walk apart from the standard lakes or 25 Fontes outing.

Lagoa do Vento is a striking waterfall where swimming is possible.
