2-Day Iguazu Falls Tour from Puerto Iguazu, Both Sides, Bilingual Guide and Transfers (12/12)

This package splits Iguazu Falls into two separate days, one per country, with a bilingual guide in Spanish and English. The order of the days is arranged with the local operator. A shared transfer brings you from Puerto Iguazu airport to your hotel in Argentina or Brazil, and round-trip transfers cover the excursions. The Argentine park lies about 20 kilometers from Puerto Iguazu. Its showpiece is the Devil's Throat, where a fault in the plain produces a drop of roughly 80 meters, and the Upper and Lower walks suit visitors who prefer easier circuits. On the Brazilian side you cross customs, take the Rodovia das Cataratas into the Iguaçu National Park and follow a 1,200 meter walkway facing the falls. A glass elevator gives a view from above, and a rest area at the end has restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, medical services and bathrooms. The park entrance fees for both countries, food and drinks are not included. Bring an ID or passport for the ticket offices. Visitors from Australia, Canada and the United States need a Brazilian visa. Up to 10 travelers per booking.

  1. Iguazu National Park

Iguazú National Park is about 20 kilometers from Puerto Iguazú, in Misiones province, Argentina. The water comes from the state of Paraná in Brazil and travels more than 1,200 kilometers, fed by tributaries. Then a geological fault breaks the plain and the river drops roughly 80 meters at the Devil's Throat, the most impressive waterfall, where the roar of the water dominates the landscape.

  2. Iguazu Falls

On the Brazilian side a walkway of 1,200 meters runs in front of the falls, with a panoramic view that also takes in the Argentine falls. The walk has ups and downs and ends in front of the Devil's Throat. A glass-walled elevator gives a view from above. At the end there is a rest area with restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, medical services and bathrooms. The guides stop at the best photo spots and share the history of the place.
