Iguazu Falls Multi-Day Packages: 2, 3 and 5-Day Tours and What Each Includes

20 multi-day tours from under 120 to more than 500 EUR, typically 120 to 250 EUR. Half are private two-day guiding; the one we opened has no hotel, and three of the five we opened cannot be cancelled once booked.

Half of the 20 Iguazu Falls multi-day packages are not packages at all. Ten are private two-day guiding, with a car and a guide usually at 120 to 250 EUR and, in the one we opened, no bed. The other ten run from under 120 to more than 500 EUR, and only some of them include hotel nights, park tickets or flights. The page covers the full spread, from under 120 to more than 500 EUR, typically 120 to 250 EUR, for tours that last two to five days. It shows what the word "package" covers in each case, what a second night buys you, and which terms to check before you pay. The geology and the rules at the two parks are on the Iguazu Falls page.

Two shorter pages sit beside this one. Both sides in one day is the eight-hour version, typically 60 to 120 EUR, and the Brazilian side and Argentine side pages cover a single bank each. Choose this page when you want a night in Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazú, or two unhurried days on the trails. Prices are the providers' own, in euros, read on 22 October 2026, and five of the listings were opened in full so that the included lines and cancellation terms come from the listing and not from its title.

What a multi-day Iguazu package is, and what it is not

We sorted the 20 listings by what they sell, and there are three kinds. The first is private two-day guiding: ten listings at roughly 60 to 250 EUR. The one we opened in full lists private transport, a licensed guide and parking, and leaves out both park tickets and the Argentine eco tax. There is no hotel in it. Nine of the ten private listings are priced per person; only the Fontebasso Turismo tour, in the 120 to 250 EUR band, quotes one price for the whole group, and the nine typically cost 120 to 250 EUR per person. The second is a pair of tours with transfers, such as the Gray Line Argentina package, in the 60 to 120 EUR band, which includes an airport transfer, a Brazilian side tour and an Argentine side tour but no accommodation. The third is a real package with nights, meals and sometimes flights, and in the listings we opened it starts in the 250 to 500 EUR band. Most of the price range on the chart comes from that third group.

The walking

Why a second day is worth having

The case for two days is walking time, not scenery. One private operator describes the Argentine upper circuit as completely flat and the lower circuit as having steps, with an optional boat ride and jungle truck on top. The Brazilian trail is a separate half day. A visitor who does both banks in a single day sees each trail quickly; with two days each bank gets its own morning.

A third day pays off if you want a boat, the bird park or the Itaipu Dam. Beyond that, the listings are mostly selling hotel nights.

Two days, three days, five: what the extra nights buy

Length explains less of the price than you might expect. A two-day tour can cost under 120 EUR or more than 250 EUR; a four-day tour can sit in the 120 to 250 EUR band or above 500 EUR, both from the same operator, Gray Line Brazil. The cheaper 4-day listing we did not open, so we cannot say what it leaves out. The dearer one lists three nights in a 3-star hotel, lunch and a panoramic Itaipu visit, and excludes both park tickets and the dam's entrance. When two listings of the same length differ by a factor of three, the hotel line is the likeliest reason.

Length Listings Price range What the listings we opened show
2 days1460 to 500 EURPrivate guiding with no bed in the 120 to 250 EUR band; transfers and two tours in the 60 to 120 EUR band; an all-inclusive in the 250 to 500 EUR band
3 days3120 to 1,000 EUR250 to 500 EUR band: two nights in a 4-star hotel, breakfast, both park tickets, optional flights
4 days2120 to 1,000 EUR500 to 1,000 EUR band: three nights in a 3-star hotel, lunch, Itaipu panoramic tour; park tickets not included
5 days1500 to 1,000 EURFrom Buenos Aires; we did not open it

The 2-day row is the widest because it holds both of the cheap products and the dearest all-inclusive. The all-inclusive listing from Azul Latina Travel, in the 250 to 500 EUR band, includes the Argentine circuits, the Gran Aventura boat, a Three Borders catamaran cruise, both park entries and breakfast, but the hotel night and the flights appear only if you choose its flights-and-hotel option.

The same title can sell a bed and a flight, or a guide and a car, and nothing in the headline price says which.

Where you sleep decides the border

Your hotel is on one bank, and every day on the other bank is a border crossing. The three-day listing is candid about it: the 4-star hotel is on the Brazilian or the Argentine side depending only on availability when you book, unless you select a specific hotel. If you want to be a short drive from a particular park, pay for the option. The Argentine park is 18 km from Puerto Iguazú according to the national parks agency, and the Brazilian park is on the road out of Foz do Iguaçu.

Flight times matter as much. The all-inclusive listing asks you to land around 1 pm on day one and fly out only after 6 pm on day two, and you check out in the morning with the luggage in lockers, because the tour ends at the airport. The four-day tour asks for an arrival by noon on day one, and warns that if you are short of time the two banks may be combined into a single day, which defeats the reason for paying for four. Families should read the small print too: the all-inclusive listing bars children under 12 from the Gran Aventura boat, and asks for an ID check to board.

Chart of the prices of the 20 Iguazu Falls Multi-Day Packages listings on waterfalls.travel, median 199.6 EUR

Price spread

How the 20 prices spread out

The private marks bunch tightly at roughly 60 to 250 EUR, with most in the 120 to 250 EUR band. The shared marks run the whole width, from under 120 to more than 500 EUR, and have a median in the 250 to 500 EUR band, more than double the private one. The median across both groups, in the 120 to 250 EUR band, falls in the gap between the two clusters, which makes it a poor guide: very few listings cost that much.

Read the chart as two markets. Below 250 EUR you are buying days of a guide and a vehicle. Above 250 EUR you are buying a package with nights, and the question becomes what the nights contain.

Cancellation and flights: read these before you pay

The private two-day listing we opened is the flexible one: it allows a full refund up to 24 hours before departure. The packages are not. Of the five listings we opened in full, three say all sales are final, which are the three-day tour, the all-inclusive and the four-day tour. The two-day tour from Gray Line Argentina refunds only if you cancel at least three full days ahead and pays nothing inside that window. The three-day listing also says its rate does not apply to special dates such as Christmas and New Year.

Flights are the second trap. Two Signature Tours listings, a two-day one and a three-day one, both in the 250 to 500 EUR band, offer an optional round-trip economy flight from Buenos Aires with transfers, and the three-day one adds a supplement if a higher booking class is needed because the cheapest seats are gone. A flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazú takes about two hours. Check which option the headline price describes before you compare it with a listing that has no flights.

Who should pick a package

Take private two-day guiding if you are already in Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazú and want a guide for the second day. Take a transfers-and-tours pair if you arrive by air and want the airport run handled. Take a hotel package if you are flying in from Buenos Aires and want everything booked once. All ten private listings are rated 4.9 or 5.0, mostly on small review counts, and the biggest private seller, Iguassu Private Tours, holds 178 reviews at a 5.0. The operator with the most reviews, Signature Tours, holds 18% of the page's total, with a 4.4 for its 3-day tour and 4.6 for its 2-day one. Ratings point to the private guides; they do not tell you which offers value, because a guide and a package are priced for different jobs.

Questions about spending several days at Iguazu Falls

How many days do you need at Iguazu Falls?

Two days is enough for most travelers, one per bank, with a night in between. A third day pays off if you want the boat, the Parque das Aves bird park or the Itaipu Dam. A single day covers both banks only at a fast pace, as the both-sides page explains.

Do I need three days at Iguazu?

Only if you add extras. The 3-day listing we opened has a half day on the Brazilian side, a full day on the Argentine side and optional boats and birds. Two days covers both parks. Three adds time and moves the price into roughly 120 to 1,000 EUR.

Do multi-day packages include the park tickets?

It varies. The three-day package and the all-inclusive include them. The private two-day tour, the cheaper two-day tour and the four-day tour leave them out. Check the Not included list on each listing.

Should I stay in Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazú?

Pick the side whose park you will visit twice or first thing. The hotel decides which day involves a border crossing. One package assigns the side by availability unless you choose a hotel, so decide before you book, not at check-in.

Are flights included?

Only some packages offer them, and as an option. Two Signature Tours listings include an optional round trip from Buenos Aires with transfers. For other listings you arrive on your own and the operator collects you from the hotel or airport.

Can I cancel a multi-day tour?

The private tour we opened allows a full refund up to 24 hours ahead. Of the five packages we opened in full, three are non-refundable and one refunds only up to three days ahead. Read the cancellation line first and buy flights after the tour is confirmed.

Only have one day?

The both-sides tours cover Argentina and Brazil in eight hours, typically 60 to 120 EUR. The park tickets are usually extra.
