This 4-hour ATV route is built around access to a private estate with three distinct waterfalls, one of which riders explore and swim in. Clear water and a stretch of rural Costa Rica are the draw. The ride leaves the ATV station 15 minutes south of Jaco and climbs through the mountains on a rural public road, past small villages and farms and through tropical rain forest. The surface is a mix of gravel, dirt and pavement. At the midpoint the group stops at El Tigre Sightseeing and its restaurant, a spot to rest and photograph the valley. Food, snacks and drinks can be bought there before the ride back down. Pace counts here. Riders need to average about 38 km per hour to reach the attractions within the scheduled time, and routes may change if the riding falls short. Visitors have made this route a favorite. Transportation from the Jaco or Los Sueños area must be arranged by messaging the operator through Viator.
