All-Inclusive Pacific Coast Waterfall Day with Local Guide, Secluded Beach and Casado
This all-inclusive, full-day small-group trip follows the Pacific coast with a local guide who talks about stories, culture and hidden spots on the drive. Monkeys, sloths and exotic birds are often spotted along the way. The route goes off-road through primary rainforest to Portalon, a secluded waterfall with fresh, clean water for jumping in and swimming. A deserted beach, Playa Linda, follows, with a freshly picked coconut and the sound of the waves. In the care-free surf town of Dominical there is time for coffee or ice cream, the souvenir shops on the beach and photos of the coastline. The main stop is the Nauyaca Waterfalls. A walk through the rainforest with the guide, who helps spot sloths and other wildlife, leads to the two-tiered cascade, where guests can swim, jump or relax in the mist. A traditional Costa Rican casado at a local restaurant finishes the day. Couples, families and solo travelers all fit the small-group format.
