Dominicalito and Uvita Waterfalls Trip with Rocky Beach and Whale's Tail Sunset Lookout (12/12)

This trip visits two to three waterfalls, a rocky beach and a mountain lookout where the sun goes down over the Uvita valley and the Whale's Tail formation. Costa Rican jungle surrounds the whole route. It starts at the first waterfall in Dominicalito, then moves to a nearby viewpoint over rocky points. On the way to Uvita the group stops at a local fruit stand to taste fruits typical of Costa Rica. In Uvita, a gentle river with swimming holes and plenty of spots to jump in or slide down is next, and a high point allows a look down on the Whale's Tail. When the tides allow, cocktails at sunset are an alternative. Depending on the departure area, a stop at some caves and at a secret waterfall near Ojochal may be added. The guide shows the way to it. The operator frames tourism as a way to promote acceptance, cultural understanding and environmental awareness. Pickup and drop-off place and time are arranged over WhatsApp at least 24 hours before the tour.
