Arenales Caves, Taíno Petroglyphs and Charco Azul Pool with Optional Cliff Jumps

Arenales Caves and Charco Azul sit in Puerto Rico's northern karst region, and this guided outing covers both. The caves were shaped by water over thousands of years, and guests walk through them to see Taíno petroglyphs and underground rivers. The route then continues to Charco Azul, a turquoise pool surrounded by rainforest cliffs, where guests can swim, relax or try the optional cliff jumps. The setting is quiet, with fresh mountain air and rainforest scenery around the pool. The outing suits groups, families, couples and adventure lovers. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety. The meeting point is the parking area in front of the beach on Park Blvd in San Juan.
