Ban Gioc Waterfall Tour in 1, 2 or 3 Days, Daily, Open or Private, with Tiger Cave
This product is sold as a daily, open or private tour of one, two or three days, and it is built for visitors who want the core of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark without spending long on it. The route goes beyond sightseeing, with stops that deal with the local ethnic people and their culture. In a single day the program has a waterfall, a cave, a panoramic view toward China, a hike and a motorbike ride. The cave is Nguom Ngao, described as a rarely touched cave at the center of the Geopark, with fossils close to 500 million years old. Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda stands with its back against Phia Nhim mountain and faces the waterfall, so the temple grounds double as a viewpoint over the falls and the hills around them. Ban Gioc Waterfall itself drops along the border between Vietnam and China. From there the trip goes on to Ngoc Con Valley, a secluded valley in Cao Bang. Angel's Eye Mountain gets its name from a large round opening near its top, which looks like an eye in the cliff. Craft villages that have worked for hundreds of years are also on the route: paper, incense, knives and terracotta tiles.
