Bratan Temple, Handara Gate, Twin Lakes Viewpoint and Banyumala Waterfall Day Tour

North Bali's quieter side fills this eight-hour day, run with a licensed guide in an air-conditioned private vehicle for groups of up to 6. It starts at Ulun Danu Temple on Lake Beratan, a water temple with a peaceful atmosphere. Handara Gate follows, a traditional Balinese gate framed by green mountains and one of the island's most famous landmarks. The third stop is a secret viewpoint over the Twin Lakes, Buyan and Tamblingan, with forest and mountains all round. The day finishes at Banyumala Waterfall, reached by a hike through the jungle. Its multi-tiered falls drop into clear pools that are open for swimming. About 4 of the 8 hours are spent at the stops, and the other 4 go on driving between them. Round-trip transfers, the licensed guide, refreshments and entrance fees to all listed attractions are included. Personal expenses are not.
