Bromo Jeep Sunrise, Crater Rim Hike and Madakaripura Waterfall from Surabaya or Malang

This overnight start tour leaves at midnight from Surabaya or Malang for the sunrise over the Bromo area, followed by a climb up to the volcano. Madakaripura Waterfall comes afterward, as a calmer stop after the pace of the morning at Bromo. The guide and driver collect guests at 00:05 and drive by car to a village near Mount Bromo, where the group switches to a jeep. At 02:30 the jeep heads to the Sunrise View Point inside Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. A warm drink helps pass the wait until the sunrise at about 05:00, and Widodaren Hill is the next stop for photos. By 06:00 the group goes down to the Sea Sand area and hikes the rim of Mount Bromo to look at the smoking crater. Breakfast is local food at the Lava View restaurant, then the group returns to the car. Madakaripura Waterfall is the last stop, with water falling from the rocks. The group is taken back to the starting point in Surabaya, or to a hotel in Malang at no extra charge. The tour finishes at about 13:30.
