Private Bromo Sunrise, Crater Hike and Madakaripura Waterfall from Malang or Surabaya
A Malang travel agency runs this one day trip to Mount Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall. Entrance tickets, a friendly English-speaking local guide and private transport are included. The pickup is late in the evening, any place in Malang or Surabaya at around 23.00. The drive ends at Cemorolawang village on the Bromo side, and a jeep takes the group to the Penanjakan sunrise viewpoint, also called Kingkong Hill depending on traffic. The sunrise is the first highlight. After it come Bukit Cinta (Love Hill) and Widodaren (Dinosaur Valley), and a hike to the crater and the temple, with the jeep left in the parking lot. Madakaripura Waterfall closes the program. Lunch is paid for by guests, and the time at the waterfall follows it. The return to Malang or Surabaya takes place in the afternoon, between 14.00 and 17.00.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
Pickup runs from 23.00 to 02.00 at any place in Malang or Surabaya, followed by the drive to Cemorolawang village at Mount Bromo. From 02.00 the jeep goes to the Penanjakan sunrise viewpoint (Penanjakan or Kingkong Hill, depending on traffic). Sunrise viewing lasts from 03.00 to 06.00. Then comes Bukit Cinta (Love Hill) and Widodaren (Dinosaur Valley) until 07.30, and a hike to the crater and temple until 09.30, with the jeep parked in the parking lot.

Madakaripura Waterfall
From 09.30 the group returns to the parking lot and drives to Madakaripura Waterfall. Lunch at personal expense and time at the waterfall fill the period from 10.30 to 14.00. The drive back to Malang or Surabaya runs from 14.00 to 17.00.
