Cao Bang Loop 2-Day Easy Rider Tour: Ngoc Con Hike, Quay Son Swim, Groups of 7 to 9 (4/4)

Groups of 7 to 9 ride behind an Easy Rider on this two-day loop through Cao Bang, with nights in homestays among the Nung An people. Meals are 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 dinner, with snacks and water. The transport is a motorbike with the Easy Rider and a limousine bus back to Hanoi. Day one goes over Ma Phuc Pass to two Nung An craft villages: Phja Thap, for incense dried in the sun, and Phuc Sen, for forged metal tools. Nguom Ngao Cave comes next, with guided walking through its chambers. At Ban Gioc a bamboo raft goes closer to the falls when local conditions allow, and hillside steps lead to Truc Lam Pagoda. The afternoon ends on the Quay Son River, with a walk or, when weather, water level and safety allow, a swim guided by the local team. Day two starts with breakfast at the Ban Gioc homestay. A moderate hike climbs to the Ngoc Con viewpoint above the headwaters of the Quay Son River, so shoes with good grip are recommended. Angel Eye Mountain follows, also called the Eye of the Mountain God, where the valley under its natural opening is explored on foot, by kayak or in a small local boat, as the guide decides on the day. The group is back at the Cao Bang Travel office between about 4:20 and 5:00 PM.
