Damajagua Waterfalls and 3 Zip Lines at Country World Adventure Park with Dominican Lunch
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Dominican RepublicWaterfalls, zip lines and lunch share one shore excursion from the cruise port. The bus heads west to the Damajagua Waterfalls, rated among the best attractions on the Dominican Republic's North Coast. The pools there are cut into limestone, with stalactites and stalagmites in many colors. Reaching the cascades takes an uphill hike of about 20 to 30 minutes. The way back is by water: swimming, jumping and sliding through clear, cool pools. The second stop is Country World Adventure Park. A mandatory safety briefing from trained staff comes first, then three zip lines, certified and inspected to ACCT standards. No experience is needed. Unlike many zip line parks, this one does not ask riders to brake themselves, so there are no gloves to hold onto the line. A Dominican lunch completes the program. The package suits anyone who wants water, height and a meal in a single outing from the ship.
