Garabitours Hidden Canyon Hike near Jaco: Waterfalls, Cliff Jumping and Farm Stops
Garabitours runs this jungle hike through tropical rainforest, led by a property owner with more than ten years of experience taking visitors to the waterfalls. The route crosses creeks and follows scenic trails, with a search for wildlife on the way and a talk about the forest. Stops cover a banana plantation, cocoa trees and sugar cane. At another point the guide explains banana trees, coffee trees, sugar cane, yuca roots and chocolate trees. The destination is a hidden canyon with waterfalls and natural pools, good for swimming and for cliff jumping. The guide also talks about the region's culture and its plants and animals.
