Three countries meet around Iguassu Falls, and this trip from Foz do Iguacu crosses the border to see the Argentine side with a local guide. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included from most downtown hotels in Foz do Iguacu or Puerto Iguazu. The park entrance fee, food, drinks, tips and the per-person tax charged when entering Argentina are not included, so bring a valid passport and check visa rules for Brazil and Argentina. Inside Iguazu National Park a train leaves for the upper part of the falls every 30 minutes. The first stop is the classic one: the Devil's Throat, reached by a footbridge of 2080 meters that ends at the biggest fall in the park. The second part is the Upper Circuit, which is wheelchair accessible and has six viewpoints with views from above the falls toward San Martin Island and parts of the Brazilian falls. On a sunny day a rainbow often appears. An optional add-on covers the Brazilian side, with a 40-minute to 1-hour walk on trails facing the falls and a panoramic view of the Argentine side. With that option the trip lasts about 11 hours. Groups are limited to 9 travelers per booking, with guiding in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
