Adrenaline is the point of this Puerto Iguazu excursion. A 4x4 truck first takes the group into the jungle to learn its secrets, then a high-speed boat pulls up within meters of the waterfalls and into the spray, the so-called Baptism of the Falls. The truck carries up to 20 people. A guide accompanies the group from the park access through the 2 hours of the 4x4 and boat ride. On foot, the park has three classic routes, the upper, the lower and the Garganta del Diablo, all easy to reach, with the ecological train transfer that comes with the park entrance. The three circuits can be walked in full, and the guide shares information on the park, the falls, the flora and the fauna during the transfer. For a longer walk there is the 3 km Macuco trail, a pedestrian, self-guided path into the jungle. It leads to the territory of the black capuchin monkeys (Cebus apella nigritus) and to the 23 m Arrechea waterfall. The boat ride is not open to children under 12, pregnant women, people with spinal pathologies or surgery, osteoporosis, neck or back injuries, cardiac or pulmonary conditions (COPD), recent surgery or neurological disorders, or anyone who could not respond physically to a nautical emergency on the lower Iguazu River. Bad weather can suspend the ride.
