Iguazu Falls Argentine Side Full Day with Great Adventure 4x4 and Zodiac Boat
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Puerto IguazuOn the Argentine side you can walk right over the falls, and this full-day tour from Puerto Iguazu adds the Great Adventure on top of the walking circuits. Known as the Baptism of the Waterfalls, the Great Adventure combines a 4x4 truck ride through the jungle with a run in an inflatable semi-rigid boat to within meters of the falls. The walking part has three pieces. A train goes to the Garganta del Diablo station, then metal walkways lead to a panoramic point over the biggest drop. The Upper Circuit is a 1750 m route with six large viewpoints and rest areas, and the Lower Circuit is a circular walk of about 1800 m with eight viewpoints, passing under the falls where steam, sounds and smells of the jungle take over. The Great Adventure begins inside the park. A 4x4 truck follows the Yacaratia and Puerto Macuco trails, then 100 m of stairs lead to the Puerto Macuco jungle base and the floating dock. With life jackets on, the boat sails toward the Iguazu River canyon, crosses the last stretch of rapids and reaches the Argentine falls. The high point is the San Martin fall, the second largest and the biggest a boat can approach. The boat passes under several rainbows and finishes in a fresh mist. Transfer times to and from the hotels are counted in the day.

Iguazu Falls
The 4x4 Great Adventure starts inside Iguazu National Park (Argentine side). A 4x4 truck goes deep into the jungle along the Yacaratia and Puerto Macuco trails, followed by a 100 m descent on stairs to the Puerto Macuco base and the floating dock, where the semi-rigid boat waits. With life jackets on, the boat sails toward the Iguazu River canyon without losing sight of the falls, and the last 2 km are run over the rapids. The final stretch faces the San Martin fall, the second largest and the biggest a boat can approach, under several rainbows and a baptism of fresh mist. The time to return to the hotel is included.
