A guide stays with the group from the hotel pickup to the end of the day on this Argentine-side visit to Iguazu National Park. Transport is by air-conditioned minivan, the driver doubles as a guide, and the group can walk every trail open in the park. The park entrance fee, food, drinks and tips are not included, and a valid passport is required on the day of travel. Visa requirements are the traveler's responsibility. The walk starts on the green path toward the lower and upper circuits. Birds and coatis are the usual residents, and on some days the coatis are everywhere. The lower circuit begins with smaller waterfalls inside the forest and a view of the main channel of the Iguazu River, the natural border between Brazil and Argentina. The upper circuit stays in the jungle and crosses channels at the top of the falls, with several viewpoints for photos. The last stop is the Devil's Throat. A 15-minute train ride through the forest leads to a catwalk that reaches the main falls, 80 meters high. The volume of water is what surprises most visitors. Groups are limited to 15 travelers per booking, and the guide speaks Portuguese, English or Spanish.
