Kazungula Airstrip Helicopter Flight over Victoria Falls, Batoka Gorge and Zambezi Park

This flight leaves from the Kazungula Airstrip on Kazungula Road, and transfers to and from the activity within Victoria Falls are included. Two flight lengths are sold under the same name: a 15 minute scenic flight and a 25 minute game flight. After a pickup at your hotel and a gentle takeoff from the helipad, the helicopter flies over the upper Zambezi River and circles the falls, so both the left and the right side get a turn at the window. It then follows the river downstream through the Batoka Gorge and its steep cliffs. On the way back it crosses a long island on the upper Zambezi and flies toward Zambezi National Park, where elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, giraffes and kudus can be seen from the air. After the flight you are dropped at your lodge. Park fees and a fuel levy are paid on top of the booking. For the 12 minute option they are 15 USD per person in park fees and a 22 USD fuel levy, paid at check-in, and the 25 minute option carries its own park fees and fuel surcharge. Up to 7 travelers can be booked together, the tour is wheelchair accessible, and guiding is in English.
