Marrakech to Setti Fatma Waterfalls Guided Hike with Berber Breakfast and Riverside Lunch
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
MarrakechThe medina of Marrakech is left behind early in the morning, and the road heads for the Atlas Mountains. The first stop is a local women's argan oil cooperative, where Berber women show how the oil is made and breakfast is served: freshly baked bread with argan oil, honey, peanut butter and mint tea. From there the route follows the Ourika Valley up to Setti Fatma, a village known for its waterfalls. A guide leads the hike through green valleys and along rushing streams toward the cascades, and a riverside cafe is where the group can unwind. Lunch is served beside the river: tagines, fresh salads and couscous cooked with local ingredients. The afternoon is the drive back to Marrakech. Pickup is at Hotel Tazi, at the entrance to Jamaa El Fna square, or at the nearest point a car can reach. The program combines a craft stop, a guided walk to the falls and a river meal in one day.
