Nauyaca Waterfalls Small-Group Day Trip with Portalon Falls, Playa Linda and Dominical
This day trip from Quepos runs down the Pacific coast and makes four stops, with the two-tier Nauyaca Waterfalls as the main one. Groups are capped at 10 people. The first stop is Playa Linda, a deserted beach where the group relaxes and picks coconuts fresh off the tree. Next, an off-road drive through primary rainforest reaches Portalon Waterfall, a secluded spot for swimming, jumping in or just exploring. Dominical follows, a laid-back surf town where there is time for a coffee or smoothie and a look around, including the souvenir shops on the beach. Nauyaca comes last. A walk through the rainforest, where sloths, flowers and other wildlife turn up, leads to the falls. Guests can stand in the mist, swim in the pool beneath the cascade, or jump from the side and float in the main pool. Lunch is at a local restaurant, with a traditional casado to try. Pickup is arranged over WhatsApp at the Marina Pez Vela meeting point in Quepos.
