One booking covers three South Coast attractions from Negril: YS Falls, the Black River Safari and Floyd's Pelican Bar, with pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle and the operator's own drivers at the wheel. Private transportation, WiFi on board, bottled water and the entrance fees are included. Meals and drinks are bought at any of the three places. Lockers are not included, and neither are towels. At YS Falls the draw is a seven-tiered set of waterfalls deep in the hills, with a wide wading pool fed by underground springs. The Black River Safari is a guided boat trip through mangrove wetlands that belong to the Black River Lower Morass. More than 100 bird species live there, including herons and egrets, and crocodiles are often seen on the banks. A stop at a crocodile nursery shows younger crocodiles up close, and the captain talks about the river's ecology and history. Floyd's Pelican Bar is a wooden bar on stilts in the sea off the south coast, about a 20-minute boat ride from shore. Swimming and snorkeling are possible, and the food is simple and fresh. The bar is cash-only. An Appleton Estate rum tour can be added for an extra cost by asking the drivers or mentioning it in the special requests. The vehicle is wheelchair accessible, strollers and service animals are allowed, and guiding is in English. Up to 15 travelers per booking.

  1. YS Falls

The first stop is YS Falls, set deep in the hills: seven tiers of waterfalls and a wide wading pool fed by underground springs, with room to dive in or rest in the cool mineral pools. The day also includes a cruise on the Black River past crocodiles, tropical birds and mangroves, run by the Black River Safari Company, and a seafood lunch at the Pelican Bar for an additional cost. The boat ride out to the bar runs past seaside homes, guesthouses and long beaches.

  2. Black River Safari

The Black River Safari is a guided boat tour on the longest navigable river on the island, through mangrove tunnels and wetlands that belong to the Black River Lower Morass. Over 100 bird species live here, among them herons, egrets and migratory birds, and crocodiles bask on the banks. A crocodile nursery stop lets guests see young crocodiles and learn about conservation, while the captain explains the river's ecology and history.

  3. Floyd's Pelican Bar

Floyd's Pelican Bar is a rustic wooden bar on stilts in the sea near Parottee Bay in St. Elizabeth, about 20 minutes by boat from shore. It is built from driftwood, old pallets and scrap, with no roads and no WiFi. Guests swim around it, snorkel nearby or carve their name into the wood. The menu is simple and fresh, usually grilled lobster, fish, shrimp and festival caught the same day. The bar is cash-only and has a reggae soundtrack and cold Red Stripe.
