Niagara Falls 2 or 3-Day Tour from NYC with Finger Lakes, Toronto and Thousand Islands

This tour comes in two lengths from New York. The 2-day version heads north through the Delaware Water Gap and Watkins Glen State Park in the Finger Lakes, passes Seneca Lake and reaches Niagara Falls in the afternoon. On the American side the stops are the American Falls, Goat Island and Luna Island, followed by the night illumination. Day two starts at Horseshoe Falls, the largest of the three with the highest flow, and includes the Maid of the Mist. The bus leaves at noon and stops at one of the large outlet centers before reaching New York in the evening. The 3-day version, offered from April to October only, goes beyond the falls. It begins with the boat ride and a sunset view, then moves on to Terrapin Point, Niagara-on-the-Lake and a panoramic tour of Toronto (HTO Park, the Distillery District, Brookfield Place). The night is spent in Gananoque, and the last morning is a cruise on the St. Lawrence River past Boldt Castle and Heart Island before the return to New York in the late afternoon. Prices are per person, so rooms are booked as doubles or triples. Children over 2 are welcome at the same rate and must be with an adult. From November to April Montour Falls replaces Watkins Glen, and the Cave of the Winds replaces the closed boat. Citizens of some countries, such as Mexico, Argentina and Colombia, need a Canadian visa for the 3-day option.
