Niagara Falls Day and Night Tour from NYC with Evening Illumination Viewing
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
New York CityThis one-day coach trip from New York City stays at Niagara Falls long enough to see the water in daylight and then lit after dark. It covers the American side only, so no visa is needed. The bus leaves at 7:00 am, with pickups at 790 7th Avenue in Manhattan and, by confirmed reservation, in Union City, New Jersey. The afternoon goes to the viewpoints in Niagara Falls State Park, the oldest state park in the United States, opened in 1885 and designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. Prospect Point and its Observation Tower look straight at the American and Horseshoe Falls. Luna Island sits between the American and Bridal Veil Falls, and Goat Island leads to Terrapin Point, one of the closest spots to Horseshoe Falls on the US side. The Maid of the Mist boat and the Cave of the Winds walkways at the foot of Bridal Veil Falls are among the attractions on the route. At dusk the falls are illuminated, and on select nights fireworks go off above the water. Old Falls Street, a pedestrian street leading to the park entrance, has food trucks, street vendors and restaurants for a meal before or after the show.
