Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
New York CityThe coach leaves Times Square at 4:00 am and reaches Niagara Falls around 11:00 am, after 7 to 8 hours on the road with one rest stop. The day is built for the US side of the falls: Prospect Point, Luna Island and Bridal Veil Falls, Goat Island and Terrapin Point, where Horseshoe Falls comes into full view. Access to the Observation Tower is included. Between viewpoints there is free time for lunch (not included) and souvenir shopping in Niagara Falls State Park. Options differ. Some include a bilingual guide speaking English and Spanish, some an interactive audio guide in English, Spanish or Chinese, and the Maid of the Mist boat ride is part of the ones that say so, from May to October only. Ponchos are handed out in spring and summer when needed. Outside the boat season, the day shifts to other viewpoints such as the gorge walk and Terrapin Point, depending on ice and weather. The coach starts back after the free time and reaches New York between 11:00 pm and midnight. Hotel pickup is not included, and a booking covers up to 30 travelers. A moderate level of fitness is expected.
