Niagara Falls Overnight 2-Day Bus Tour from NYC with Watkins Glen and Outlets
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
New York CityThis overnight bus trip leaves Port Authority at 6:30 am and spends two days between a gorge of waterfalls, Niagara at night and an outlet mall on the way home. The route north passes the Delaware Water Gap and Seneca Lake. In summer the first stop is Watkins Glen State Park in the Finger Lakes, where a walk through the canyon passes its waterfalls. In winter the stop is Montour Falls instead. Niagara Falls comes in the late afternoon. The first evening covers the US side: the American Falls, Goat Island and Luna Island. Travelers who want to cross into Canada do so at this point, while the rest stay on the American side with free time. Both groups then watch the evening light show on the Illuminated Falls, and the rest of the night is free before everyone returns to the American side to sleep. Day two starts with the sound of the water and a close look at Horseshoe Falls. From May to October the Maid of the Mist goes out onto the water. Until April, when the boat is closed, the group visits the Power Vista Hydro-Electric Station and the Cave of the Winds. At noon the bus heads south and stops at an outlet mall, Crossings Premium Outlets or Waterloo Premium Outlets, before reaching New York in the evening. The operator plants one tree for every passenger through One Tree Planted.
