New York CityThis small-group day trip is about looking at the American side of Niagara Falls from as many points as the day allows. Departures are at 4:00 am from the Times Square LOFT entrance, 1459 Broadway, or at 4:15 am from Chinatown in Manhattan, and the group returns to New York at the end of the day. Once at the falls the stops run along the park: the Observation Tower, with a view across the Niagara Gorge and the American Falls; Prospect Point, a classic angle on the American Falls and the Niagara River; Luna Island, between the American and Bridal Veil Falls; and Terrapin Point on the edge of Goat Island, facing Horseshoe Falls, the largest and most powerful of the three, which drops 167 feet. The Maid of the Mist boat ride is an optional extra in the operating season. When the boat is closed, the route stops at the Three Sisters Islands instead, to get closer to the falls in winter. A ticket bought for the Maid of the Mist alone does not include the round trip from New York City, and is redeemed separately at the ticket booth at 332 Prospect St, next to the Observation Deck at Prospect Point. Boats leave every 15 minutes, a printed voucher and photo ID are needed, and only the lead traveler's name is required at booking.

Important: a Maid of the Mist ticket bought on its own is used independently and does not include the full-day round trip from New York City. Ticket redemption: the ticket booth is at street level next to the Observation Deck in Niagara Falls State Park, at Prospect Point. Only the lead traveler's name is needed at booking. Bring a printed voucher and valid photo ID. Tickets are valid only on the selected date, at any time during operating hours. Boats depart every 15 minutes; if one is full, wait for the next. The confirmation voucher and redemption instructions are issued within 24 hours before the travel date, by email or platform message.
