Night Canyoning with Extreme Dominica: Helmet-Light Descent Through Rainforest Gorges

Canyoning in Dominica after dark. Extreme Dominica takes small groups into the same rain-carved gorges as its daytime trips, but at night, with a waterproof Fenix light mounted on each helmet to light the way. The light provides all the illumination the descent needs. Thousands of years of rainfall cut deep gorges into the island's rock, and the rivers, waterfalls and pools inside them stay hidden under the rainforest. At night the canyon is seen through the beam of the helmet lamp, with rappels along the way. The tour runs about four hours in total. Included are the helmet and lamp, all gear, a professional guide and a driver/guide, plus local taxes. Dinner and lunch are not included. A moderate level of fitness is required. A minimum of 2 people per booking is needed, and up to 8 can book. Canyoning depends on the weather and can be cancelled at the last minute. Infants must sit on an adult's lap. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund.
