Departures leave Marrakech at 9:00 am from the traveler's accommodation, and the group is back in the city around 4:30 pm. In between is a day in the Ourika Valley, an hour from Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains. The drive passes mountain scenery, river valleys and Berber villages. One stop is at a women's argan oil cooperative, where the traditional production methods are explained. Another is a Berber home, where a cup of mint tea is part of the visit. The main walk is a guided hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, with free time at the falls to look around at your own pace. Lunch is an add-on. When the lunch option is booked, it is served at a riverside restaurant, and the example menu runs from a Moroccan salad of tomato, cucumber and onion to a tagine of chicken or beef with vegetables, with a vegetarian dish on request, fresh bread and seasonal fruit for dessert. Water and soft drinks are usually paid for separately at the table.
