Two hike formats are sold under this Ourika Valley day trip from Marrakech: a private hike with a personal guide, or a shared hike in a small group. Both use shared round-trip transportation from the city. The valley is an hour from Marrakech and holds Berber villages, green slopes and the Setti Fatma waterfalls. The day includes the guided hike, a women-run argan oil cooperative and visits to artisan workshops that make pottery, carpets and handmade crafts. Rivers and terraced fields frame the views along the way. Lunch at a riverside restaurant is not included, so it is paid for at the table. The mix of waterfall, argan oil and craft stops fits a full day, and the choice between private and shared hiking lets travelers decide how much company they want on the trail.
