Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech with Berber House, Argan Cooperative and Hike
Viewpoints, a family home, a craft cooperative and a waterfall hike fill this full-day trip from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley. Panoramas of the Atlas Mountains come first, with stops for photos and short walks and a look at river valleys and Berber villages. At a traditional Berber house, the hosts explain daily life, customs and hospitality. A women's cooperative follows, where argan oil is made by hand: visitors watch the work, learn why it matters locally and can taste and buy products straight from the makers. A drive then leads to Setti Fatma, and the local guide takes the group on a hike through the valley to the waterfalls. Lunch at a riverside restaurant, with dishes picked from the menu, is part of the day when the lunch option is selected, and drinks cost extra. The last leg is the scenic drive back to Marrakech, and travelers are dropped off at their hotel or riad.
