Ouzoud Cascades Day Trip from Marrakech, 8:00 Hotel Pickup, Minibus and Boat Option

The day is tightly timed. Travelers wait in the hotel lobby at 8:00 a.m., a minibus collects them along with a few other people from different hotels in town, and a three-hour drive follows to Ouzoud Falls. The return minibus leaves at 4:00 p.m., and the drop-off at the main square or at the hotel comes at around 6:00 p.m., leaving the rest of the evening free. At the falls, travelers choose how to walk the area: with a local guide or alone. A guide is not included in this day's tour. Lunch is also not included, but the recommendation is to eat around 1:00 p.m. along the river. After lunch the hike goes to the top of the falls, and a little free time remains before the minibus leaves. Swimming in the falls is discouraged. The Cascades d'Ouzoud count among the most beautiful sights in this part of Morocco, a big cascade of water falling from a height while a stream flows over a precipice in open countryside. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxing, which is part of the reason to leave the uproar of Marrakech behind for the day.
