Ouzoud Waterfall and Middle Atlas Full-Day Tour with Guided Village Hike

The pickup comes early: at 8:00 a.m. a driver collects travelers from their accommodation in Marrakech, and the road takes about two hours to reach the village of Ouzoud. From there a hike begins, and a local guide goes along to show the area. The walk crosses a green valley with shady orchards and traditional water mills, and it passes the Berbers who live in the mountains. The waterfalls themselves are huge, and the water falls in several steps that form a panorama with rainbows in the mist. Tagines are served next to the water, with the falls in view. A climb to the top of the falls brings travelers face to face with families of monkeys, which are used to visitors. A boat trip on the falls is also possible while in Ouzoud. The road from Marrakech covers 150 km and passes through the dark green of thuya trees and the pale gray-green of olive trees. The day ends back in Marrakech, with a drop-off at the place where the traveler is staying.
