Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Day Tour with Boat Ride, Small Group from Marrakech

The drive from Marrakech to Ouzoud takes about three hours, so the day is built around the falls rather than the road. A guide travels with the group from the start and stays through the visit. At the waterfalls, in the Middle Atlas Mountains, the water drops down a staircase of tiered cliffs, and the guide explains the history of the place, its geology and the plants and animals found around it. The walk is shaped around what each traveler wants to see, with time for questions along the way. Guiding is available in Arabic, English and French, and a booking takes up to 15 travelers. The boat ride gives a different angle on the cascades, from the water instead of the viewpoints, and is part of the booking when that option is selected. For lunch, the guide points out the best spots with a view of the falls. Hotel pickup and drop-off in Marrakech are included, with transport by air-conditioned minibus, minivan or 4x4.
