Plitvice Lakes from Zadar with Pre-Booked Gate 1 Tickets, Boat, Train and Free Time
This day trip leaves Zadar early and gives most of its hours to the park: up to 6 on the grounds, with a map and a suggested route that covers the highlights in about 4 hours and leaves 2 more for photos, lunch or a rest. Entry tickets for Gate 1 are arranged in advance for every guest, so there is no queue at the gate. The tickets themselves are paid for in cash, on top of the tour price, and a fuel surcharge is also paid in cash. Visitors choose how to spend the time: join the guide for the full story of the lakes, or walk the trails alone. The scenic boat ride and the electric train are both included. Luggage stays in the vehicle or at the agency office while the group is in the park, and the group stops 20 minutes at a local supermarket on the way for food and drinks. Guests staying in the Old Town or nearby meet at the agency office. Hotel or apartment pickup elsewhere in Zadar carries an extra fee of 5 euro for up to 4 people or 10 euro for larger parties. Groups are capped at 30 travelers, guiding is in English and German, and a discount on bike or e-scooter rental is offered at the agency. The whole day runs about 10 hours.

Pickup around 7:30 AM. Guests staying in or near the Old Town meet at the office. Elsewhere in Zadar, hotel or apartment pickup is arranged, and an extra fee may apply outside town, with the exact time given at the door. Bring cash for the park tickets and a fuel surcharge. Park tickets are pre-booked daily for smooth entry.

Around 9:00 AM, a 20 minute stop at a local supermarket on the way to the lakes. It is the moment to buy food, drinks or snacks. Guests can also bring their own food or eat at a restaurant inside the park.

Plitvice Lakes National Park
Around 10:00 AM the group reaches Entrance Gate 1. Tickets are already booked for everyone, so there is no wait in line. The driver collects them and handles entry. Ticket prices are in the Exclusions section or on the park's official website.

Plitvice Lakes National Park
At 4:00 PM the group meets again near Gate 1 for the trip back to Zadar. Anyone heading on to Zagreb or Rijeka can be dropped at the local bus station, with frequent buses to both cities. Luggage stays on the vehicle during the visit, so nothing needs to be carried.

Zadar Land City Gates
Back in Zadar around 6:00 PM. Guests whose accommodation lies inside the Zadar pickup zone are dropped at their hotel or apartment, as they were picked up, after a full day on the trails.
