Plitvice Lakes Private Full-Day Tour from Zadar with Kozjak Boat and Train
On this private full-day tour, the guide picks up the tickets at the entrance, and the group sets off on foot. The first section lasts about two hours and runs from the entrance to Veliki Slap, the biggest waterfall in the park. From there the path leads to Kozjak Lake for a 45 minute break. A boat crosses Kozjak from the lower lakes to the upper lakes. On the far shore the walk continues to the point where the electric train starts. The train carries the group from the finish point to the exit of the park. The group leaves Plitvice at around 3pm and is back in Zadar at around 5pm. Plitvice Lakes is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Croatia, and has been on the UNESCO World Heritage register since 1979. The lakes are linked, and wooden walkways cross the forested terrain. A private guide can adapt the route and pace to the group across both the Upper and Lower Lakes. Hotel pickup and drop-off, the certified guide, the electric boat, the electric train and an air-conditioned vehicle are included. Park entrance tickets are not, and their price depends on the month, from 10 EUR in winter to 40 EUR from June to September. Guiding is in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish.
