Private Dubrovnik Day Tour via Peljesac Bridge to Kravice Falls, Pocitelj and Mostar
This is a private day tour for up to 8 travelers, run in an air-conditioned vehicle with bottled water on board and guiding in German or English. Total driving time is about 4 hours and 30 minutes. The first stop is the terrace of the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Bridge, looking down on the Rijeka Dubrovačka bay, with Lapad and the Gruž cruise terminal on one side and hills with olive groves on the other. Mount Srđ rises in the distance. A short stop at the Pelješac Bridge follows. It is over 2.4 kilometers long, with a main span of 385 meters, and it is the most expensive infrastructure project Croatia has built. The main stop is Kravice Falls in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a series of cascades that drop into clear pools. Visitors can swim, sunbathe, picnic or follow the trails to the viewpoints, and the ruins of old mills can still be seen. Next is Počitelj, a medieval village on the Neretva with a 14th-century fortress to climb and the 16th-century Hajji Alija Mosque. The last stop is Mostar. Its Old Bridge went up under the Ottomans in the 16th century, was destroyed in the 1990s war and was rebuilt in 2004, and there is time to explore the old town around it.
