Private Dunn's River Falls Climb by Air-Conditioned Van from Ocho Rios Port or Hotels
A comfortable air-conditioned van collects guests at Ocho Rios hotels or the cruise port and drives the coast road to Dunn's River Falls, past some of the island's lush scenery. At the park guests get a wristband, walk five minutes to the white sandy beach at the foot of the falls, and then follow a guide up the 600-foot cascade. The hike takes about an hour, with stops for swimming in the pools, and a photo at the congratulations sign at the top. The tour then returns to the van and ends with a drop-off at the hotel or cruise port. Entrance fee, local guide, air-conditioned van transport and pickup are included. Food, drinks, tips, the DVD and water shoes (available to rent at the falls) cost extra. Bring a waterproof camera, cash and water shoes. The tour needs a minimum of 4 adults per booking and takes up to 15 travelers, with guiding in English.

Dunn's River Falls and Park
The hike starts with a little time in the Caribbean Sea, then climbs about an hour through small cascades up to the big falls. Average fitness is enough. Stop in the pools along the way, let the mountain spring water run over your back, and look back from above the main fall at the climb behind you. The upper falls continue with more terraces, and a comfortable pool is a good place to rest at the end.
