Private Iguazu Falls Argentine Side Tour from Foz do Iguacu with Tri-Border Stop
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Foz do IguacuA private day trip to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, with the meeting point opposite the Ibis Hotel at the corner of Avenida Doutor Schimmelpfeng in Foz do Iguacu. Both the Brazilian and the Argentine sides are beautiful, but the best view of the Garganta del Diablo waterfall is on the Argentine side. There visitors stand at the edge of a massive fall that plunges about 90 meters into the depths. About 8.7 km of well-developed hiking trails cross the national park and show its variety: tropical rainforest, large views and the force of the water. Iguazu National Park lies in northern Argentina. It protects the Argentine portion of the falls and part of the surrounding Atlantic Rainforest, was established in 1934 and covers 677 square kilometers. Because the tour is private, the day moves at the pace of the group booked, with no other travelers to wait for. A full refund is available when the booking is cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

- Transportation options are wheelchair accessible
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- So my tip: try to be there a few minutes before the park opens.
- The morning temperatures are more pleasant for customers who are not used to the subtropical climate.
- The park opens at 08:00 local time and closes at 16:00.
- I therefore always recommend leaving early to avoid traffic jams.
- Please note that no animals may be fed or touched!!!
- After redeeming the tickets, after a few hundred meters you will arrive at the central train station, from where a train, natural gas-powered locomotive with open passenger cars, leaves the station every 15 minutes for the various hiking trails, three in total. Since the maximum speed is 7km/h, it is great for taking photos. and make films while driving, or just enjoy the breathtaking nature with its unique flora and fauna.
- Trails such as Devil's Throat and Upper Trail are suitable even for those with walking aids or wheelchairs as the walkways are built flat across the upper course of the Iguacu River.
- The lower trail includes around 180 steps and therefore requires a little more physical strength.
- Light shoes with non-slip soles are recommended for the hikes.
- Please note that my tours are not marathons, but serve to give the customer enough time to take in the whole thing so that they can also enjoy it.
- If you are not planning a longer trip to Argentina, I advise you not to exchange a lot of money, since the Argentine peso has lost much of its value and is not accepted everywhere in Brazil.
- Washrooms, toilets, bars, bistros and restaurants can be found at almost all stations.
- Up to 30 travelers per booking.
- Mobile or paper ticket accepted
- Guiding available in: de, en, it, fr, es.
