Private Krka Park Tour from Split with Local Driver, Skradin Boat and Optional Sibenik
A local driver takes the group from Split to Krka National Park, a drive of about an hour, for a private version of the most popular tour from the city. The format works for first-time visitors and for anyone with a single day in the park, and the day leaves room for the park's lakes and waterfalls. Inside the park, education trails and bridges lead to Skradinski Buk, the longest, best-known and most visited waterfall on the Krka River, formed by travertine barriers, islands and lakes. Along the way are old watermills and an ethnography collection on the economic history of Šibenik and its region. A boat then runs down the river to Skradin. The town sits at the entrance to the park and counts among the main nautical destinations on the Adriatic. Afterward the driver can continue to Šibenik for St. James's Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage monument. This stop is optional and lasts up to an hour.
