Private Krka Waterfalls and Sibenik Old Town Tour with Skradin Boat Ride (12/12)

A private four-hour tour that joins Krka National Park with the medieval old town of Sibenik. The park part centers on Skradinski Buk, where wooden footpaths run between waterfalls, lakes and trees, past travertine barriers, old watermills and traditional crafts. A boat ride of about 20 minutes follows, to the small town of Skradin, for a short walk and an optional drink. The boat comes with the park ticket, so it costs nothing extra. The second half is Sibenik, a Gothic-Renaissance town of decorated medieval palaces on narrow stone streets. The guide shows the main monuments in a walking tour and explains how people live in the town today. St. James Cathedral, a UNESCO monument built over more than a century, is explained from the outside, and a visit inside is possible on request, though the entry is not covered. Guests can stay in the old town afterwards, a 5 to 10 minute waterfront walk from the cruise port, or be driven back to the hotel or port. The vehicle is air-conditioned with Wi-Fi, and the driver is a licensed guide. Lunch, gratuities and the Krka park ticket are paid separately. The park walk is about 2 km with some 100 gentle steps down, which can be hard on bad knees. Up to 7 travelers, guiding in English or Spanish.
