Krka is one of eight national parks in Croatia, and this private tour from Split comes with a choice of a morning or an afternoon departure. Transfer is by air-conditioned minivan or bus. Inside the park there are waterfalls, scenic viewpoints and free time to explore, plus a 30-minute boat cruise down the Krka river. The small town of Skradin has a sandy beach on the Krka river where guests can swim. An optional stop at a local family-owned winery adds a wine and olive oil tasting. The park entrance fee is not in the tour price. It is charged separately on the morning of the tour, at an agency discount, and the rate changes with the season: one rate for January to March and November to December, another for April, May and October, and a higher one for June to September, with lower rates for students and everyone under 18. The meeting point is the Golden Gate, the north gate of Diocletian's Palace, down the stairs from the bronze statue of Gregory of Nin. The guide holds a blue umbrella.
