Private Medjugorje Day Trip from Dubrovnik by Mercedes E-Class with Kravice Falls Stop
This private day trip from Dubrovnik is for up to 2 travelers, in a black Mercedes E-class (new model) with air conditioning and an English or French speaking driver. The driver meets you with a sign and your name at your address in Dubrovnik or the surrounding area, and the pace is yours, with stops whenever you wish. The day lasts about 10 hours. The road runs along the coast for roughly an hour, with the Elaphiti Islands in view (Koločep, Lopud and Šipan), then crosses the Pelješac Bridge, about 2.4 kilometers long. It continues through the Neretva delta, a wetland known for its mandarins, seen from the car with no visit, and over the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina. From the delta to Međugorje takes about 2 hours. In Međugorje the driver first makes an orientation tour by car, passing St. James Church, the apparition hill, the house of Vicka Ivanković, one of the visionaries, and the streets of souvenir shops and restaurants. Afterwards there is free time to visit the church, the hill and the park behind the church, and to have lunch and shop, with the driver on hand for transfers between the hill and the center. Comfortable shoes help on the hill. An early start suits the day, and a 7 am departure allows time for holy Mass. On the way back the car stops at Kravice Falls. Lunch, gratuities and the park entrance (about 10 euros per person) are not included.
