Private Northern Bali Trip: Ulun Danu Temple, Sekumpul Trek and Banyumala Falls
This private northern Bali day starts with Ulun Danu Temple, a water temple on the shores of Lake Beratan in the Bedugul highlands, dedicated to Danu, goddess of the lake. Visitors can stroll the gardens in the cool mountain air before heading on to Sekumpul. Sekumpul is the high point for walkers: seven falls reached on trails with river crossings, and pools to swim in at the end. A natural water slide is part of the Sekumpul experience. The last stop is Banyumala, a pair of falls that stay relatively untouched and fall into a clear pool. The total time is 10 hours, of which around 5 go on hotel pickup, drop-off and driving between the stops. Lunch at a local restaurant, snacks, bottled water, entrance tickets to all attractions, hotel pickup and drop-off, and a private air-conditioned vehicle with a driver are included. Personal expenses are not. Bring extra clothes, a towel and insect repellent. Up to 6 travelers can book together, and guiding is in English. The trip is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnant travelers or anyone with poor cardiovascular health.
