Private or Semi-Private Krka Waterfalls Day Trip from Split with Plastovo Winery Lunch

The trail through Krka National Park is pleasant and not difficult, and light clothing with sports shoes is the recommended outfit. After a short introduction and some tips from the host, there is free time, about two hours, to explore the waterfalls and the park at a personal pace. The vegetation is rich and the falls are powerful. Pick-up is at a location the guests choose in Split. The driver takes the group inside the park and gives instructions before the free time starts. The second half of the day is spent in Plastovo, at a small family winery near the park. Winemaking there goes back more than 500 years. The owner is the ninth generation of winemakers in the family, and his organic wines are made with the same methods and tools as a century ago. Guests taste three of them with a lunch of homemade local products, including prosciutto, cheese, pancetta, olive oil and tomatoes. The driver then returns to Split.
