Private Roseau Valley Tour for Up to 6: Freshwater Lake, Ti Tou Gorge, Hot Springs (4/4)

Everything on this route sits within the Roseau Valley, and the party is private: up to six travelers in an air-conditioned vehicle, with the entrance fee covered. Over five hours the tour takes in a crater lake, a gorge swim, twin waterfalls, sulphur springs and a city viewpoint. The first stop is Freshwater Lake, the island's largest lake, in a volcanic crater about 2,500 feet above sea level. A trail loops around it in about an hour, or you can plunge in. Ti Tou Gorge comes next: a Pirates of the Caribbean filming location, entered through a small pool, followed by a swim of about 10 minutes through a narrow passage to a waterfall. Trafalgar Falls is seen from a viewing platform that frames both falls against the green of the rainforest. At the Wotten Waven sulphur springs, you can look at the bubbling pools fed by underground volcanic heat or sit in the warm mineral water. The last stop is Morne Bruce, above Roseau, with the Caribbean Sea behind the city. The driver waits at the intersection of King George V Street when you get off at the Roseau cruise ship berth, holding a sign with the company name. The tour suits all fitness levels, and guiding is in English.
