Private Sekumpul Waterfall Trek with Warung Lunch, Handara Gate and Bratan Temple
Sekumpul, near Singaraja in northern Bali, is the focus of this private trek: seven waterfalls spread along high cliffs and ringed by green forest, each with its own shape and height. A local guide leads a medium-effort walk through the green scenery to Sekumpul and the other hidden falls nearby, with time to swim in the fresh water. Lunch is served at a local warung in the waterfall area. After it, the route continues to Handara Gate, a landmark popular for photos, and to Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, a water temple on the shore of Lake Bratan built in 1633 and used for offering ceremonies to Dewi Danu, goddess of water, lakes and rivers. The booking covers the guide, bottled water, all entrance tickets, and a private air-conditioned car with petrol and parking. Personal expenses are not included. Bring a towel and extra clothes for swimming, insect repellent and comfortable shoes. A moderate level of fitness is needed, the minimum age is 10, and the adult price applies to everyone. Groups are limited to 12 travelers, and guiding is in English. The trip is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnant travelers or anyone with poor cardiovascular health.
