Private Transport Volcano and Waterfall Combo with Sauna, Mud Bath and Hanging Bridges

Transportation here is air-conditioned and private, and the price covers insurance and professional bilingual local guides. The day opens with a waterfall where swimming is possible, then continues to Miravalles volcano. A short, easy hike leads to boiling mud, hot water and steam rising from the crater. After that come a natural sauna, a volcanic mud bath and hot springs, plus horseback riding on the volcano's slopes. Two more waterfalls are visited for photos, and the route includes a walk across hanging bridges. A traditional Costa Rican lunch and bottled water are included, while tips are not. The tour lasts about eight hours, takes up to 15 travelers per booking and is guided in English only. It suits all fitness levels and all ages, but is not recommended for pregnant travelers.
